Man, it has been a while, but only because I’ve been doing so many things…as is often the case, this post will hardly do justice to my absence, but I’m sure you’ll get over that in enough time…

All the way back on last Friday, I was running XPN’s board for most of Illinois‘ Free At Noon Concert…they were not bad, though the lead singer sang and talked a lot through a microphone rigged through a telephone receiver…that may sound good on a few songs on a record, but live, it was a bit strange…

That night, Dad and I went to see Grindhouse…my best summation of it is that it was out of control…Yes, I had to leave the theater for a few minutes to regain myself from all the medical gore in Planet Terror, but I didn’t really miss much…I thought that the fake trailers were hysterical, and I’m glad that I got to see some of the actual B-movie trailers on Something Weird, otherwise I don’t think
