Squonk!
March 7th 2007 by E..
Friday was a very strange weather day…When I left for the train in the morning, it wasn’t doing anything, when I got to 30th Street, it was like a crazy-hurricane…then, by 1:00, you would never know that it was pouring beforehand…they don’t even write about weather about that in the bible!
Saturday night, I decided to go to Beth Sholom for Purim time (I dressed up in my XPN Hallowe’en party costume…I mean, DEVO are my favorite characters from Megilat Esther)…I saw a bunch of my Jewish friends there (imagine that)…after megillah reading, there were various activities going on, including skating at the Old York Road Skating Rink…Indeed, those were my old stomping grounds back in elementary school, but I haven’t skated regularly for years, and really I don’t intend to get back into it…though Caitlin, Giggles, Evette and I missed the bus, the rink is a short walk over…because neither Evette and wanted to skate, we walked over to Cosi to visit Alana Shaw…Alana and I made arrangements to get together, and somehow I got a Snapple tea…Still trying to figure that one out…
Sunday, after Alana came to visit and then left, it was off to the Folk Show…Gene was away again, and I was the only person there to help out…unfortunately for the band that was in, I am the only person who doesn’t know how to use the mixing board for the World Caf
